About the NY Arts Program

The NY Arts Program has provided students with professional experiences in the arts in NYC for over fifty years. Our faculty are both locally and internationally recognized professionals in their respective fields of writing & publishing, visual arts & art history, film & TV broadcasting, music, and performing arts. Our students come from colleges and universities across the country, spending an academic semester studying and interning with organizations and artists specific to their interests. About ARTSCAPE

The NY Arts Program is offering ARTSCAPE, a week-long journey into the NYC art world for undergraduate and recently graduated students. ARTSCAPE is providing five days of curated activities in the arts. Students will go behind the scenes as they explore various disciplines within the arts, get to know the city, try foods from all over the world and relish in a creative community for the week.

The NY Arts Program uses it's deep roots in the NYC arts community to provide students with exclusive opportunities in the arts such as:

  • studio visits with artists like Bruce Pearson, E.V. Day, Rashid Johnson, & Chitra Ganesh
  • backstage access to theatre houses such as the New Group, the Lee Strasberg Institute & the Metropolitan Opera
  • behind-the-scenes tours of TV & film studios
